PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va.—Dominion Virginia Power expects to return service to 737 Prince William customers by Tuesday night, said company spokeswoman Daisy Pridgen.
As of Monday morning Dominion had not tallied how many people in the county went without power during the storm that dumped on 17 to 27 inches of snow across the area Friday and Saturday.
Downed tree limbs and snow-bound roads were the main reason for customers going without power, Pridgen said.

Local attorney Tarah Toolhil has announced that she will challenge state Rep.
Todd Eachus , D-Butler Township, for his seat in the state House of Representatives.

The Bishop of Stafford, the Right Revd Gordon Mursell, has used a pastoral letter in February's Parish Magazines across the Diocese of Lichfield, to consider the consequences of leaving home.
The bishop will be retiring to Scotland in June after being warned by doctors that he risks losing his voice completely unless he stops talking too much.

Kenneth O. Cotton, 84, of Tioga Center, N.Y., passed away at home on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010.

The No. 7 Bearcats outscored the Owls 45-34 in the second half of Thursday night's AMC game at Anderson Arena.
Senior forward Jerone Lester produced game-highs with both 21 points and 18 rebounds for William Woods University, which plunged to 5-17 overall and is in last place in the American Midwest Conference with a 1-7 record.
Thursday night's loss was the sixth in a row for the Owls, who went into halftime with a 35-34 lead.
